Marie Balfour is the CHRC Student Representative for the Coronado
Strand and Village Elementary Schools and the Coronado Middle School. Her purpose is to lend the elementary and middle school student experience to the Commission's perspective. She helps the Commission in identifying ways of promoting respect, tolerance and inclusion; understanding and empathy; forgiveness; and the peaceful resolution of conflict among and between elementary and middle school youth and adults in the community ofThis page is for Marie and her fellow students at the Coronado Middle School as well as students from Silver Strand Elementary, Village Elementary, Sacred Heart Parish School and Christ Church Day School to do with as they please. It is meant to reflect, in time, the melding of ideas, creativity, input and effort from the student bodies she represents. This can be a wonderful example of inclusion, peacemaking, and teamwork!
